Tarot & Wine: Lessons for the Curious

At the Wine Shop Vashon, spend your Tuesday evenings in April sipping thoughtfully selected wines while learning the art and language of tarot. This welcoming series is designed for the tarot‑curious and budding readers who want hands-on guidance, practical skills, and a little midweek magic.

$140 full series (save $40 when purchased in advance)

Each class includes a themed lesson, a live demo, and time to practice. You’re invited to bring your own tarot deck or work with a deck provided for you.

Weekly Themes

April 7 – Meeting the Deck
Learn about the forgotten female artist behind the most common deck, how the deck is organized, and a few juicy historical tidbits that bring it to life.

April 14 – Major Arcana as Archetypes
Meet the Elders of the Tarot deck and learn to work with them intuitively—no memorization required, just curiosity and connection.

April 21 – Minors and Everyday Life
Discover the meanings of each of the four suits or “families,” and how they mirror everyday experiences, emotions, and patterns.

April 28 – Simple Spreads & Ethical Use
Explore beginning spreads you can use for simple daily practices, plus a grounded introduction to reading tarot ethically for yourself and others.

A structured tarot lesson focused on the week’s theme
Live demonstration so you can see spreads, questions, and interpretations in action
Coordinating wine pour/pairing designed to match the evening’s energy
Space to start your own Grimoire (book of wisdom) with prompts and notes you can build on after class
